New Lowered Price. $15,900. (iaw post #22) Selling my 2016 Spyder RTS. Just made a deal on a 2020 Limited. I am the 2nd owner. Baja Ron sway bar, belt tensioner, magic mirrors installed. I also installed BRP comfort seat. New battery a couple months ago. Tires (Kenda) are about 2 yrs old with around 5k on them. 1st owner installed them 100 miles before I bought it. Approx 21K miles. I still drive, so mileage will vary. Under the seat bracketry for a utopia backrest is included. Also XM radio is installed.
Excellent condition.
PM me for further info/pics.

I know people are not supposed to question the selling price, but I am asking for comments on my asking price. It seems as though the market is all over the place.

This seems a little high on the price, but you might find buyers. This is pre-2018 so it doesn't have the digital screen or BRP Connect, but you added the right aftermarket parts.
Do a search on CycleTrader to get a better feel for things as a recommendation. Good luck with your sale (GLWS).
Thanks for the input. Out here on the west coast the prices are high IF you can find one for sale. I am open to reasonable offers but I won't give it away either. Nothing wrong with the ride. Wife said I could get a newer and said that will be my last.
This is the kind of info I was looking for.

You're correct... prices are all over the place; and yes, East Coast prices are cheaper. A few are too far to travel, & I'm interested in an F3. Good Luck.

I just sold Jane's loaded, pristine 2014 RTL. My asking price was initially 18.5k and I eventually sold it for $17k. I only got 2 serious inquiries in a month of listing it here, Craig's List, Cycle Trader and the local rag.
Thanks Pete. I'll wait a couple days before I put it on Craigslist. I ain't stuck on the price. I'm open to reasonable offers. I pick up my 20 RT Limited probably Thursday.

Dean, My wife tells me this will be my last. As long as I can sling, drag, hoist, whatever my leg over the seat I will still be out there on the road. I still own a Honda CTX 700 and ride that to get my fix for 2 wheelers. Thanks for the encouraging words. Now I hope my 16 sells.

Hi Bob. Here is some 2016s’ from Facebook. Listed state, price, mileage, and color.
GA $15900 28k Red
OH $22000 300 miles Blue
NC $18500 11k Blue
NC $18000 5k Black
DE $17500 5k White
PA $25500 12k White
OH $24000 30k Red
KY $17500 5k Black
Some have a few extras, but nothing super expensive. So it seems the price is what is in the mind of the seller and what the buyer will pay. Good Luck.
I just lowered the price to $19000. The drivers backrest has been removed. Will use on my 2020. I am open to respectable offers.
Not quite on topic, but I don't believe that a Driver's Backrest off a 2016 RT (with the single Driver/Passenger seat) will fit a 2020 RT (with individual seats for Driver & Passenger...)
Still, if you have the backrest off & you are including the bracketry from under the seat base, I'm sure you'll find a buyer here if you advertise; altho you still need to specify if it's off the optional 'Comfort' seat that gives the Driver 2 more inches of space, or the Standard seat, cos the bracketry underneath is seat type specific! I know I'd be interested in a Standard RT Seat Driver's Backrest with bracketry but for the massive cost multiplier that shipping from the US to Australia brings with it atm!
Peter, Again thanks for bailing me out. I had to purchase the bracketry the the 2020. It's just the backrest part I am keeping. The utopia pad is larger than the big bike backrest pad that came on the 2020. Yes, the comfort seat does set you back 2 inches and i am including underseat brackety. If someone purchases the ride they will just have to purchase the utopia pad.
I now have a backrest that fits a 20+ RT that I will put up for sale after I make sure the utopia fits.
