I finally got around to putting led headlights in. I bought my bike secondhand and the original owner had these that he never got around to installing. They are the beamtech.
Please don't take this as some type of attack, because it isn't. I just don't understand why people make these things, unless they have short legs or leg issues to deal with. Can you explain it to me? Is it just for decoration? The thing I see the most from videos is that people try to pull it straight back and have a hard time. It travels on an arc and once you move your foot on the arc it moves easy peesy. I see people grabbing it with their hands in videos and I can't figure that out, unless they are missing a leg or the leg doesn't work right. Out side of leg issues I can't fathom why, maybe you can enlighten me.
We put the jockey shifter on my wife's Ryker because she has knee and back issues, hence why she rides a Ryker and not a bike.
However, even if she didn't have physical limitations, I would have installed it. It is a fairy trick piece of kit and you don't see them every day.
If everything in life was strictly utilitarian, the world would be pretty boring.
You've got a potential money maker there imho. If you could make a version that mounts to the seat (sans Maxmount) just big enough to hold a Nelson-Rigg commuter-series bag and put a little return (to "level") bend in it I would easily pay $100+ for such a mount.
The Ryker surely catches peoples eyes. I did a 30 minute drive today and had multiple thumbs up by people in their cars and when I stopped at a store I came out to a woman staring at it and she started asking me questions about the bike. She said she lost 100 lbs and was going to do two things: get in a bikini again and ride a bike. I told her hop on in a bikini and she laughed. I told her sign up for the same course I did because there was more woman drivers than men when I took my course so maybe we'll get a new rider on the road soon.
Ryker Comfort Seat. UPS just dropped it off. I actually met him in the drive. Took less than two minutes to remove the old and install the new.
Took longer to write this post..

Installed the Slingmods TricLED Amber reflector sequential turns with red rear-facing kit. Exceeded my expectations. Very bright. Dramatically increased my rear end visibility. The amber strips are so thick they are easily visible from the front and rear. A PITA to install.
