Spyder Adventures Ride Leaders Needed
Spyder Adventures October 8th through 10th 2020, Maggie Valley, NC.
Gary who usually leads the rides at Spyder Adventures has health issues right now and can not lead rides.
We did have a couple that were filling in and leading rides up the Rattler and back every day starting at 9 AM. They are not available now.
We are in need of volunteers to lead rides up the Rattler and back or any other place you may want.
Please let us know if you could help. It would only have to be one ride on one day.

Oh man, I'd jump at the opportunity to do that if I wasn't suck out here in Portland (yeah, THAT Portland) Oregon in the smoke. I'd even do more than one ride per day. Wanna fly me out there?

We will be arriving on 10/7. I believe I would be able to lead a ride on one of those days. I didn't actually have plans for the Rattler, but I can probably work that in on one day. Looking to do some rides around 215 and around 28 south towards Franklin and Highlands on one of those days. One day I plan on doing the Cherohola Skyway, Dragon, Foothills Parkway, River Road, and then 441 to Cherokee. That will be a long day, but if anyone is up for the challenge, I will post up the day before.

We only got a couple of volunteers for ride leaders.
We still need a ride leader for the Saturday Rattler Ride.
If you can help please let us know so we can make this free event as great as possible.
We also still need volunteers to help at the registration table. If you can help for a couple hours let us know when you get there.

Thank you very much. Give us a call tomorrow, 440-259-4793.
It will be very easy, the Rattler rides are going to be set up to ride to the beginning of the Rattler and stop at the store. Up to 20 in each group, less if you want us to limit it. Riding up the rattler, if you want to go a little slower you will be in the back of the group, faster in the front of the group. They will stop in the middle to re group, then stop at the end to re-group. Turn around and go the opposite way back with the same stops to re-group. It looks totally different going in the opposite direction. Should take about 3 hours. Food will be available at the store at the beginning of the Rattler.
Keith has also volunteered to take a group of up to 10 on the Cherahola Skyway and Deals Gap. This will be on Friday and meet at 8 30 AM (appx 7 hours).
The Elk Watch Ride will be on Saturday morning and meet at 8 AM.
There will be sign up sheets at the registration table at the Rally. Sign up for the rides when you get there as soon as possible to get your spot.
We will help all ride leaders before the specific ride leaves with a short talk on the ride and some rules for the ride.
