The oem waterproof type are available and not expensive from Value Accessories. These work well and give an oem appearance while being waterproof.

Like Anne said, Posi-Taps. To combat the humidity, I put a dab of silicon sealer on the ends where the wire goes into the Posi-Tap.

Downside of most silicone sealants is they contain acid that adds to the issues. Maybe consider non acid silicone sealant or silicone dielectric compound. Regardless, glad to read it works for you without issues.

All good points above, but I have to ask: are these decorative LEDs or high-power LEDs, like driving lights?
The need for weather protection still exists, but I might use different connectors, based on light type and location.

Delphi connectors work well and weather packs.
