Installing a Route 129 windshield
I will freely admit that I haven't not scoped out all of the previous threads. But I'm looking to put a Route 129 windshield on my 2018 F3. I'd rather not have to pay the shop to put it on, when I can do it myself. And learn more about my bike. Does anyone have any insight or a good place to get step by step instructions on how to do this?
Thank you!! poo

Reason: This is a 'How do I?' not a 'This is How to do:' instruction.

If you lived 200 miles to the south, I'd help you. I have never done that before, but between the two us, we'd get 'er done.
Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.

*note:don’t have a F3* Usually pretty straight forward remove& replace in reverse order of removal. Windshields can be awkward with curves & hard to reach areas, so another set of hands to help is advisable. Help keep from flexing /cracking & most importantly: Take your time. it’s better than getting pissed off because you drop something. With that in mind stuff rags or towels into openings around work area just in case. Good luck

The problem is that I don't have an existing windshield. So this will be a fresh new screen on my ride.

That video is for a F4 windshield, which mounts completely different than the Can-Am Route 129 the OP wants to use. It might add more confusion than help.

Here are the BRP instructions. It really isn't too hard. The tricky part is the front mount which freely rotates but with a little ingenuity you can wedge a towel in there to hold it in approx position. It will be VERY helpful to have a second pair of hands when actually attaching the shield to its mounting points....
