I love to ride my F3T. But sometimes I want to be a hooligan again, and I ride my 2nd generation Vmax. Both area a load of fun. The wife only rides with me when on the spyder.

Me, I got into Snowmobiling in my late 40's - and loved it. But the short season along with the introduction of the Spyder made the transition Perfect for year around fun.
Now, being a Senior, this bike make more sense than ever, and is perfect for any first timer - period.
I never even rode on a motorcycle until I was 78. I spent most of my time flying my airplanes. When I couldn't fly anymore and had to sell my Corvette, I needed a toy to take up my time. I also didn't want a 60 year old technology Harley with a manual transmission. Hello Spyder RT Ltd., SE6.
I do miss two wheels, Had a ride on a mates "Adventure Bike" and enjoyed it. There are times I've thought of switching back to 2 wheels but I look at the RTL and remember I'm getting older.
Yes, I still ride at 82. Gave up my Harley Ultra in 2015 and haven't looked back. Haven't gotten much riding in this year because we have been moving to Spokane. Past three years been to Cody, WY, Glacier Park, and St. George UT., thinking rte 66 with son next summer. Love my 2014 Spyder and the people I've met along the way.
I guess I'm a lucky 70. Had my first Harley when I was 15 (55 years). Had over 50 bikes usually 4, 6, or 8 at a time. I Do ride a motorcycle daily, sometimes more than one. When my wife could no longer ride well we got an RT Spyder. So when she comes with me we ride that. Ha! I have a lot of insurance papers and Battery Tenders! I guess I'm a pretty shallow person. Don't gamble or play golf or follow any sports except for motorcycles. But I've been married to the same lady for 47 years and most of the 7 grandchildren ride motorcycles!!
1980 BMW R100T, G650GS BMW, 1971 R50/5 BMW, 1967 BMW R60/2, Honda XR200, DRZ400, 1947 Famous James, and 250 KTM XC-w right now.
I've had over thirty 2 wheeled motorcycles in the 50+ years I've been riding. That includes several Goldwings that the wife and I put a lot of miles on. However, with advancing age (I'm now 70) I no longer feel confident 2-up on an 800+ pound bike with luggage, so last year I sold the GL1800 and bought the RTL. I still have a 2017 H-D Road King that I ride solo nearly every day, plus two small dual sport motorcycles. The wife and I now have over 8,000 miles on the RTL, and we have found it to be a great touring machine, and the perfect replacement for the Goldwing.
I have been cursed with a short inseam, but enjoyed our 2009 HD Ultra for 70,000 miles. After trading in for our 2019 RT LTD, I have no fear of dropping it when fully loaded when doing a U-Turn, on gravel, uneven intersection and grass. I hope to get a sportier Spyder (F3 or Ryker) in the future once finances settle back to normal.
I was a passenger on the 2 wheeled motorcycles for 16 years ( the last 2 wheeled motorcycle was a 2009 Kawasaki Nomade full dresser).
Then my life changed big time ( lost a spouse in 2009 due to cancer). Then in 2012 bought a 2012 HD Switchback, traded it my first spyder( a 2012 RTS-SE5), traded the 2012 RTS-SE5 spyder for my CURRENT spyder which is a 2014RTS-SE6 Cognac.
After I get my feet back under me( job wise) I might get a new spyder in the future. Also,in the winter I am on the snowmobiles.
I am in my late 50's and I have spyder fever in my blood.
