Rain Gear?
What rain gear are you all using? I did a quick search and see an older post where some are using First Gear. Any other suggestions.

Frog Togs work fine and not too expensive

Frogg Toggs have worked fine for us for years. But we live in Nevada and it doesn't rain too much. And when it snows ( I'm at almost 6'000 ft ) -- it SNOWS.

I've got Frogg Toggs and my wife has Joe Rocket. Both have worked well so far.

I vote f0r Frogg Toggs. They pack small and are easy to put on when the rain hits

Frogg Toggs. Effective, reasonably priced and they pack up really small. We keep ours in the small depressions in the side trunk lids, held in place by the Hopnel elastic nets. Out of the way and handy at a moment's notice

My rain gear was made be a Russian guy named Rudolph, because (are you ready for this?) Rudolph the Red knows rain gear!

I have a hi-viz jacket from Scorpion that has a zip-out liner. It is rainproof. I used to pack what I thought were good rain pants (until my crotch got wet in a frog choker!), I now have a pair of bibs (and the top part zips off). Got them from Amazon and they are hi-viz and go on very easily (even over my boots!).

Aerostich. Expensive, but worth every penny! Frog Toggs offer zero protection in a crash. So, factor in the gear you have to wear under frog toggs, and Aerostich is not so bad.

Frog Togs for me. Rode 8 1/2 hours in the pouring down rain the other week and I was 100% dry except for a little damp around the collar neck area.

Can-Am rain gear is good, I have Olympia gear and it is good too. You want something that will breathe or you’ll get wet from sweating. First Gear is also good quality. Riding with good textile gear will take you from warm to cold and wet to dry without needing to change clothes.

The moral of this story is make darned sure your side cases are firmly closed. Double check. I recently rode to a few miles South of Natchez, MS for a couple of dozen oysters on the half shell at Roux61. It was raining most of the way down and about 60 miles North it stopped. I bought Chevron Premium fuel, took off the gear and stored it in the side compartment. Did I mention already about double checking. Long story really short, about the time I got onto the freeway, the door, unbeknownst to me, came open, spilling the rain gear. I saw the light come on on the dash and stopped to close it but the gear was gone. Rode back about 10 minutes later and it was gone. I'm sure someone picked it up to catch up with me but somehow got lost in the traffic. Somehow. Buy new gear. Olympic jacket and I tried their pants but in my waist size, 37 and 5' 8", the legs were 18 (yes 18) inches too long. Rather than having them tailored, I have tried to find another pair. Frog Toggs was suggested. I had to buy a size larger to fit over my riding gear but the legs were shorter, only 14 inches too long. I gave up. I'll live with it. I think I'm going to hate the all black Frog Togos. I'm all about high visibility. I've been hit on 2 wheelers three times because, "I didn't see you." The black Frog Toggs I think will be hard to see daytime and totaly invisible nights. I know of no other solution. Hope is my co-ryder. Is there reflective tape that I could attach to the outside of the legs to help?

If you are gonna buy Frogg toggs look at the hunting sites they usually have them for a fair amount cheaper than motorcycle shops. They will have them in hi-vis options.

I've worn too many of these types of rain gear to work in and they are not comfortable to begin at all.
