Headlight modulator install
Installed these LED headlamps on my Ryker 900.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...TF8&pscInstall
Then installed this universal headlight modulator by Kisan that will drive both LED lamps.
https://kisantech.com/p75w.html
It is working great, I'm a firm believer in modulators and being seen, installed them on all my bikes.

Did you have any issues with installing the LED? I tired to a different part number from same manufacture and the housing on bottom was a little too thick and didn’t allow the retaining clip to latch on.
-
The modulator says not compatible with the can bus system.....

Copied directly from their website: ■ DO NOT use on bikes with bulb-check system or CAN-bus monitoring.

I am using the above LED's and Kisan modulator without any problems or errors on the Ryker.

The white plastic ring that locks the bulb in the housing was a tight fit, I ended up using a dremel and removing the two raised sections on the ring.

That's usually the way it works. No problem at all until it happens. Just hope you're some place that's not to inconvenient to get to the shop. And that the problem(s) are easy to fix. Good luck!

I remember seeing a video from TheSmoaksVlog where he warned about people putting the decorative led lights on Spyders and it messing with the can-bus system after a while. Not sure how the system works but it apparently doesn't like some add-ons. Take the warning as you want.

No fears, even with the headlights disconnected the Ryker reports no errors
so obviously there not monitoring for malfunctioning headlights.
Used the same set up on my Goldwing and Harley that are Can Bus with no problems.

Reading on their site it looks like they make one that is compatible with can-bus, just not the one linked.

The problem usually arises from an interference that eventually occurs from incompatible components. You may get lucky and never have a problem. I hope that's the case. If not, where will you be when it occurs? Down the street or a couple of hundred miles from home or a dealer? Will it just be a limp home error or something that stops you dead? How much will it cost to remedy?
Generally, I try to not make it a habit of asking for trouble. But, it's your ryde, your life and won't bother me in any way. I wish you the best of luck; you may need it.
PS: I've got a healthy set!

I absolutely hate headlight modulators and think they should be illegal on anything but an Emergency Vehicle. On another note I did install a brake light modulator where it flashes the brake lights 4 times fast, 3 times slow and then solid. So far no issues. Also if you get the correct H4 LED headlight bulbs there is no trimming necessary.

Easy access to splice in the modulator.
Blue wire at this plug goes to both Hi Beam headlights.
Headlights are on a dedicated line with own fuse so no problems with Can Bus.

The ones I've seen alternate between high and low beam, not just on and off.

That would actually be illegal to flash or alternate hi/lo.
You can only modulate hi or low beam, preferably hi beam, that way you can flick the switch to turn it off during the day if you want.
A photo sensor automatically turns it off at night and prevents it from modulating.

Probably why I thought it was alternating between high and low beam.

Where ls a good place to run the red sync wire between the two lights on a Ryker when installing the Kisan dual plug-and-play modulator?

I love mine as well. I currently have a modulator on my Goldwing but will be adding one to the Spyder over the winter when I go through my electrical list of "Things to do".
It has literately Save My Life.

Today I install some h4 led to my ryker rally. It has a build in fan. Its so loud, it sounds the fuel pump noise. The lights looks nice but is very loud.
