Sena boomless mike on a 3/4 helmet
Hello,
My wife and I have the Sena 20S Evo communicators mounted on our 3/4 helmets using the boomed mikes. The set also comes with a boomless mike. Has anyone installed the boomless mike on there 3/4 helmet? Not sure it would work very good if at all but it would be nice to not have the boom mikes. Thanks.

You can get a good idea how a boomless mike will work with the boomed mikes you have. Just move them to the side of your mouth, close to your helmet and you can check the performance. I've been surprised when I forgot to put the mike close to my mouth after putting on the helmet while the mike was up over my eyes.
How old would you be if you didn't know how old you were?

Wife and I use the button mikes for our Sena 20s and they work real well. We have modular helmets.

I would have liked to use the boomless mic on my modular (Schuberth C3 Pro) but the sunvisor slider means I have to mount the Sena far back on the helmet and the mic cord isn't long enough to accommodate the modular section going up and down

FYI, I have the same helmet. We stuck the button mic to the helmet section and not to the flip up portion of our schuberth c3.

Hi Dave here, your friendly neighborhood SENA Dealer for Spyder Lovers
Here are 2 helmets by SENA that have everything built into them and
notice NO MIC it is built into the helmet lining behind the visor so you
don't get wind blowing on it. They work great and I can save you $$$$
all you have to do is call me (209-887-3283) 7 days a week 9:00AM
to 8:00PM Pacific time.

Hey Brent really want to thank you for this. Just got my helmet set up and made a phone call from the house and so far so good. It’ll be nice to be rid of the boom mic

That’s great, I hope you find it easier to communicate on the road. I know my wife and I like the setup as well.
