I'm with akspyderman. I wear a Nolan N100-5; it is the only helmet I have. I have been wearing Nolan modulars for 20 years. I like the metal chin-bar latch and quick-connect chin strap.

And don't forget the flip down sun shades.

Have to go with the modular of your choice for any open motorized vehicle. May not be the best closed or open but I don't have to go home to change it or take it off to have a conversation....currently HJC...

I've never really been a fan of modulars, but I'll admit something like the Shark Evoline looks interesting due to the way it opens. Seems like you could actually really "ride" in either position. Most modulars seem like the wind would try to rip your head off at any reasonable speed when open.
Anything that will protect your head from smashing into something hard like the ground..
Not meaning to sound like a smart ass, use a good helmet DOT approved Full face is best
Modular is very good, open face not as good and the 1/2 helmets are nice don't afford much protection...
ONLY MY Opinion.....
The fit of the helmet is the first thing to consider. If it's not comfortable you won't want to wear it. Having a large round head limits my choices but currently an HJC IS Max II modular 3X.
