It is not a swing mounted towbar- we cannot buy brp trailers in Australia.
It is frame mounted.
Many debates on the various pros and cons, but we have towed with all our spyders with this frame mounted bar very happily and safely, without shaking our trailers to bits on our roads.
Here is a pic of the f3 bar, it mounts under the seat...
Maybe some local info on uk spyder facebook sites re brp or alternatives, or contact OHG in England somewhere?
Nice hitch from traileretc- and less dollars than the Australian option. And looks like wiring bit is also available too.
Yes black pig, I have the shad bags on too. No issues. Will find some pics. But if swing arm mount is OK by you, the traileretc option is worth a look?

Yeah the Traileretc is the one I was looking at, though I may need to make my own wiring harness as we have separate (yellow) indicators over here, no big deal though
@Malibu_Dan, thanks for the info and pictures. Pictures speak volumes, I am most definitely leaning towards this one.
When I bought my F3Ltd back in early '17, the Classic towbar was not available so the only choice was the 'official' BRP hitch (at an official BRP price). I was told that the warranty would be void if I fitted a third party hitch. Yes, it does shake the trailer (a small Classic) a bit but not as much as you'd expect.
I check the trailer for physical damage every 1000Kms or so - all good so far.
the website has pics for mounted and not mounted …… It shows it mounted with the two bolts on each side. I stood on it and gave it a couple of bounces it seems very sturdy unlike the one on my Goldwing I think they made that one with tinfoil and a few rubber bands haha...
