As a matter of interest, does the RS have the same engine and bhp as the 2015/16 F3-S??

Thanks for the reply. So you are saying that the RS is the twin version, sorry I did not realise that.

All GS & RS models had the 990 series, 998 cc V-Twin.
The RT models prior to 2014, and all ST models had the 991 seriec twin (also 998 cc)
RT models from 2014 to the current model year, and ALL F-3 models have the 1403 series, 1330 cc triple.

Thusly...
the GS ,RS, RSS 990 engines were 106 HP the later (after 2012) 991 engines were 100 HP and the newer 1330 engines are 115 HP ...

The two cylinder version is no longer being made by BRP. You can find them in the used market--all new production is with the three cylinder.
Maybe some changes when the new, under $10,000 Spyder is announced.
The two cylinder is still a good machine. I have a 2011 with 30,000 miles and still like it a lot.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

Thanks for that. What an amazing Spyder collection you have (and had).
Cheers.

Does anyone know what hp is at the wheel ?
-
You'd have to put one on a chassis dyno to be sure...
My guess? Figure about a 30% loss...
