NEED OIL CHANGE IN LAS VEGAS
Going through Las Vegas 3rd week of June in the middle of a long distance ride and will need an oil change on 2017 RTL. Is there a good place in Vegas that does good work. Don't know exact time and date so this may be a problem getting into a service department.

I live in Vegas and I had my oil changed at RideNow Rancho for $188.00. I haven't had any problems but my experience is EXTREMELY limited. I suggest you post on the "Spyder Ryder of America - Mojave Desert Chapter" on Facebook, where you'll get a much more representative sample of opinions.

Are you running the full 9,300 miles between oil changes? If not, why not consider doing a change before you leave, use Amsoil Metric full synthetic 10W-40 and run it 9,300.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Contact Squared Away in Las Vegas and see if they will be in town. I get mine done by Joe and Ann but they travel a lot. They can usually work you in.

That's what I would recommend. Same with tires. I don't want to have to perform routine maintenance while on a trip.

Squared Away will be home June 20-22, if that works with your schedule send me a message. Otherwise I would recommend ProShop Motorsports and Marine in Henderson but you would need to make an appointment soon as they are quite busy.

Why change the oil on a trip? The Spyder doesn't know how many miles since last oil change. With today's oil technology, you're good for 5,000 miles passed the the oil change mileage. I would not worry about it. But then I am not you, so do what you feel is good for your Spyder. Just MHO.
