I did it ... finally!
Following my post "I did it ...almost", here's my post ...finally.
After almost 10 years of watching the Spyder, I pulled the trigger today. I bought a dark 2018 F3 Limited, black. I should get it Friday 11:30 AM.
I drove ten hours today to the dealer that accepted my bike in a trade and gave me a decent price for it. Now we wait. Nice weather for the ride back on Friday.
I am really happy about this. I realized I had become concerned on a 2-wheel and wasn't enjoying my rides even though I enjoy riding. Either roads are bad or we're in construction zones. We never know what's out there. I had become afraid of using new roads. The Spyder is putting a smile back, a grin on my face while riding. Can't wait for Friday.
Thanks for all the help and advice. I really look forward to sharing with all of you.
Ride safe!

You're going to love the experience! The Spyder is not a 2 wheeler. But it is just as much fun!
Only SLOW people have to leave on time...

The pick up is not as bad because I needed to be in the area anyway. The dealer is between Toronto and Montreal and I am often in Montreal, although I live closer to Toronto. I'l just have to do the trips to Montreal on my Spyder instead of by car![thumbup](images/smilies/thumbup.gif)
In total, this was a 12-hour trek. I admit I am a bit tired today.

10 years to decide??? How long does it take you to buy a house? ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.png)
Which dealer did you buy your Spyder from?
You should come to Spyderquest in Lake George, NY Sept 5-9 to break in the Spyder.

I'm at my fifth house! The last one is a new construction! Ye. It should be known that I bought three bikes during that time.
I bought it from maximum in Hawkesbury. The only one with a decent offer for my current bike.
Spyderquest is a good idea. I'll keep that in mind!
ride safe.
