Rear fender tail mod on Spyder RS-S
tools / items needed: - 1x monkey wrench from frunk toolkit
- 1x T30 torx socket driver from frunk toolkit
- 1x drill bit to drill the holes(only 3 holes)
- 1x ZX-14R fender from ebay
- 3x 25mm & 30mm torx screws
- patience and about 3 hours
1.remove the under plastic & also remove the iron things from the ZX-14R fender
2. drill the 3 holes..
3. place the 25mm screws through the drill holes to hold the fender to the under plastic.
see photo:
4. secure torx screw with locking nut
5. place everything back and use the 30mm screw to replace the 16mm screw under the taillight
see photo:

Good job! When I first saw the RS and RSS, that was the first thing that hated, and wanted to do the same sort of mod that you have done. But now that I actually own one, I actually kind of like the way the rear fender looks. Maybe I just wanted to try to keep from kicking too much water and road grime up on my back. I do like what you have done to the rear though, might try that one day.

Nice work! Welcome to the club! 😁
We bobbed the bottom a bit more under the plate. The stock zx14 fender with the reflector is silly...[emoji57]

Sorry late response but that is not mine but spydergirl's. Mine came out close to same
IMG_6561.jpg Is what I needed so my license plate could still be seen when I use my pakitrack IMG_6989.jpg IMG_6561.jpg Also was good fix because my stock fender was damaged & rubbing my tire.
