Base F3, SM6
Anyone have one of the base models, or just me?
Never hear much about them.
Very happy with mine - 2800 miles to date.
Added LED running lights, wrapped the grips, put on Matazu bags and a throttle lock.
That's about it. (for now)
So if you have one let's hear about it.

Me too
I also have what started out as a base SM6 F3. It's changed a lot since I bought it. The latest addition is the Tricled LEDs for the fender channels. They really look like a factory installed part. Still have farkles to add; every time I think the end is in sight, I find new stuff to add. I enjoy the manual transmission.

Thank you sir, my painter loves hearing that as much as I do. He had never even seen a Spyder before and asked if he could paint it.

My wife has a base F3 manual 6 speed. The choice had nothing to do with price. There were things about the S she didn't like and she also doesn't like paying for options she doesn't care about. She also insisted on a manual. We've done many minor mods and a complete repaint to make it her own. She divides her rides between a Vulcan and the F3, but the F3 seems to be getting more of the miles with each passing season.

Some folks see the standard F3 as a canvas to create the bike they want....I did opt for the semi auto on mine....

Yes, the OEM mirrors were almost useless for me.

I love my F3S SM6! I've added a Knight Rider Mod and an X-Grip mount for my phone, love the basics!

We always want what someone else has. I for one would love to have the chrome pieces that are on yours. The chrome side panel and grill piece hasn't been seen on the F3 series since the 2015 model.
I love that look!

The chrome grill piece is available (at least they show on parts lists) if you have the compatible grill on your bike. They will not fit the base model grill.
The scoops are available in silver but not chrome. # 800g

You are not alone. I have a 2017 F3 which definitely does not have all the bells and whistles. I am very happy with mine and am slowly adding extras that I think are necessary, including a windshield and a power plate. I hope to add a tank bag this Spring. This is one awesome trike!

Reason: Moved post title...
There comes a time in life when you really want to stay in the wind, but single-track vehicles are no longer a practical or safe solution. The Can AM Spyder is a wonderful answer to a difficult situation.
