Issue with LED headlight
I recently replaced my headlights and fog lights with LEDs. I notced that my right headlight flickers intermittently. Has anyone had this problem or any advise.
I'm really happy it's not the $%#&*%!!! left fog light.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Not a shutter issue
The shutter works fine. Almost seems like an electrical issue, looks like a fluorescent light strobeing.

Don't know about the LED headlights for Spyders, but flickering is an occasional problem with other LEDs. Contact the seller and get them to replace the LED bulb.

Not all brands of LED lights will work on Spyders. Some require an additional resister and some require a capacitor. In either case there is not much room to add the additional items. Also, resistors get very hot and should not be mounted on plastic. Stick with LEDS from our sponsors like Lamont and Tricled. They have lights that have been proven to work on our bikes.

That is a common failure mode for LED bulbs.
Probably got a bad one.......or it's loose in the socket......or a wire is loose if you replaced the socket and reflector.

????... over the past two years. great strides have been made in the LED area for headlights .... from what I've read the ones Joel the Biker found some LED's that have FOUR CHIPS per bulb , they have four sides ....most have only TWO & I have bought some ( for my Toyota ) with THREE sides .... on this Forum, both TricLED & LaMonster have darn good ones also ...... the ones labeled Phillips LUMILEED (?) have top quality LED's ....IMHO .... Too broad a question; impossible to give a good answer.
I assume you are asking about headlights......or not ?
Sheer brightness is not the only important factor.
The angle of light dispersion is also important; the bulbs and reflectors need to "match".

A fluorescent build uses a ballast to pulse current, basically, to the bulb causing excitation of the gasses, most of us know this. In many cases there's is a flickering that is visible to some more than others.
An LED uses something similar but not a ballast but a DRIVER, occassionally there is an issue between the Diode and the driver. It is rare that this happens but it does happen, there are even some pope left that can see more flickering than others with the LED.
I am not saying that there is or is not an issue with the install, but it could be an issue with the oairing of components, or just a bad driver.

First set of LED headlights I used would flicker and even shut all the way off and come back on. Tried the anti-flicker module the manufacturer had and still no luck.
Bought the TricLED headlights and have had no problem with the lights. TricLED is a great company to deal with.

Most LED problems I have encountered have been bad grounds. I have cleaned and used silver cleaner on grounds and after that have not had any problems. I use the cleaner on the LED sockets and plugs.
