    Cool Road trip

Hi there. I have a 2009 can am spyder SE5. I want to take a trip from Richmond VA to Myrtle Beach on it, about 550 miles. Anyone done that before? Is it ok to take trip like that on it? Can it handle the long ride at high speeds?
    Thanks all
    Joe

I did 1039 miles in 18 hours on the 5th and 1700+ miles 2 weeks before, It'll handle it if you've maintained it well.

    Default Piece of cake

No worries. Most on here have done very long trips at high speeds. I just finished a 2,700 mile trip to the Oregon west coast and back.

    Enjoy the trip.

    Default Yes...

We do more than that at 80+ with no problem sometimes several days in a row. (check oil levels after each and add as needed, it's normal) the question is if you can last that long....

Make sure you check the oil level every 500 miles or so. You should be good.
