We are rolling early, touring the eastern areas of Canada before the event. We have just a week after to get to Washington State, so we are doing a coast to coast tour! We would love to stop in Vermont for those needing to be Squared Away; contact BlueKnight Mike for details. On the way home, we have interest in Iowa, and if there is enough to make it make sense, we will be happy to stop in! While there in Valcourt, stop by and say Hi! SpyderAnn loves meeting people! Almost as much as she loves riding her Spyder RTS! By the time we get to the event, she will have over 110,000 miles on her 2014! That bike should be in the museum! It has been amazingly reliable, and a fantastic machine. I have to compliment BRP. This thing is great! Since I do most of the maintenance, it has been a joy to travel with. Stuff breaks and wears out, but not a big deal. Almost Honda reliability! That says a lot! I an incredibly proud of her, and think there is no better ambassador for the brand. This machine has changed her life, for the better! Hope to see everyone at the event! Joe
Safe travels Joe. Looking forward to seeing you and Ann again in a couple of weeks!

I'll see you at the Homecoming. I agree about the quality of the Spyders and Ann's experience is proof.
How's your KTM doing after your cross-country riding last month?
You see he forgot to mention that his KTM is in the shop and I'm not feeling confident that it will be fixed before we leave. He thinks it is the fuel pump and the dealer has had it since last Tuesday and hasn't done much except for waiting on a return call from Austria. I can't imagine hauling him all the way to Canada on the back of my bike I wish he still had his Honda ST1300.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Valcourt. Have a safe trip there.

Rode 749.2, clear, but cold thru Vail. 36 degrees, but sunny. The KTM works fine; Ann was worried I might be her passenger! We have spares! I seriously considered a new bike! Fantastic day, our Friends Roger and Debora had a great day, too! New record for them. Shooting for Des Moines. The Spyders are running like a Swiss watch! All 3 of them.
Clive, Iowa. Smooth sailing. Cool, but dry the whole way! Bumped into Bob, from Colorado, at a gas stop. Cool to see another Spyder! They were shooting for Omaha. We did a bit more. Having a blast! About 600 miles. Figuring out tomorrow now!

I 80 Chicagoland was bumper to bumper for hours. Only did 500 miles, but dry all the way! Bikes running great, a bit of windburn, but loving this trip. Close to 2000 miles so far. Holiday traffic will be interesting, as will hotels. Shooting for NY tomorrow. Big Fun!
600 miles today. Saw Iowa folks. Beautiful countryside, took 86 across. Last hour had rain and spray, but we stayed ahead of the storms all day! No sun, but, no glare! Bikes humming right along!! Staying at the El Presidente. Host hotel, I believe. Hope to see you there! Joe
We are heading to Waterville ME today. Tomorrow we will head to the coast then north to St John NB. On Monday we go to Cape Breton Island NS and spend two nights there. Riding Wednesday and Thursday to Valcourt.

5 days to cross the country! Brief rain this morning. Otherwise, beautiful! Over 3000 miles on the trip meter! Crossing the border out east. New Brunswick. Great ride!
Maine smells amazing, I'd like to bottle it and bring it home with me or maybe pull it out in Nebraska on the ride home. It was a bit chilly today but the sun was shining and we were riding so it doesn't get much better. We rode to Bar Harbor but it was wall to wall people so we headed out and had a great lobster lunch then headed up the back roads to St John New Brunswick. We breezed through customs with no trouble and felt like we were arriving at our hotel early for a change but we lost another hour when we entered Canada. Tomorrow we head to Margaree Valley Nova Scotia.

St. John's. Beautiful, great scenery, elegant hotel. Roads here were glass smooth! Customs was a breeze! Looking forward to sightseeing. Today was over 500, but tomorrow is a leisurely 475!
Loving this vacation! Nothing broken, nothing to fix! Air in tires, oil check, clean off bugs. 😃
Welcome to Canada guys. I am glad that customs was quick for you. The eastern provinces are really beautiful and there is lots to see. You should drive over the bridge to PEI if you have time. Nice long bridge with a view. It doesn't cost anything to go over to PEI, but they charge to come back. $18.50 per bike I think.
