That ride rates a 9.8 on the "Sphincter Factor"...

I kind of liked the whole "No-Pedaling" thing also!

Here's a few more tough events (orright, 12 more if them!) Check out the Simpson Desert Bike Challenge, down the list about 5 or 6 entries, it has a vid attached:

    https://matadornetwork.com/sports/12...durance-races/

Well worth checking them all out - altho especially worth looking at the Simpson Desert Challenge! I have been privileged to support this one, & while it might look nice & easy in the vid, it really isn't at all!! Every Check Point has people on hand trained to make sure the competitors are safe to continue riding, & over the 25 plus years it's been running, there have only ever been a select few riders at each event who've managed to complete the entire course without either being pulled from a stage or two due to heat exhaustion or who weren't caught by the Sweep Vehicle (it's a safety thing - & we are proud to say that we haven't lost a competitor yet.... got close a couple of times, but we've been lucky enough to have brought them all home so far!!)

Here's a bit more on 5 Days of Hell in Satan's Velodrome, & it's even more worth the read:
