Okay. I admit that I'm not very bright. But I enjoy riding without a helmet. But I need something on my head to keep my hair from tearing out of my scull. I haven't found anything yet that stays on. Any of you who are equally intellectually challenged as I found a solution yet? Doo rags blow off.
I just wear a regular cap and bill forward, sure I've lost some over the years but not many (less than 10) and I'm talking a lot of years. If you have a windshield it shouldn't be a problem. Hat loss will normally happen when have one of those extremely wavy spots in the road and you bounce up over the top of the windshield, but if your prepared for it it's not a problem.

I understand that you don't agree with my choice to not wear a helmet.
I asked a serious question and many of you responded with a feeble attempt at humor.
Just so you feel better about yourselves. Ha Ha.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Now what kind of oil should we use?
I live in CA where helmets are required, but if they weren't I'd be with you....I'm not a ATGATT guy. The best head cover alternative I've found when riding in convertibles or boating is the reverse ball cap! My wife hates the look on me, but you gotta do what you gotta do! I've found that the snap-back works best because you can adjust quickly and they're cheap if you do loose it....Downside is the Half-moon sunburn it can leave on your forehead after a long day in the sun!

I use canola oil...
Back to the whole issue of heads: I attempted to use some humor; instead of going into the brow-beating exercise that sort of starts out like:
"AreyewoutuvyerflippingMIND???"
Instead: I actually believe more in this approach these days:
Personally: I don't believe in helmet laws; even though I'm firmly convinced that helmet usage DOES save lives...
May seem a bit out there, but you could visit a local tattoo /body piercing shop & ask if the do magnetic implants &
