Default Hopefully a new owner to a 2011 rt.

Hey guys. I'm new here and in the process of trading my can am maverick for a 2011 Spyder rt limited pearl white with 7700km on it.

    Straight trade.

Anyway. I was just wondering is there a way to take off the back end area and convert it to an rss rear end? . I tried searching but no luck.

I love the storage part. But if it's not that hard to switch. I would switch back and forth.

    Thanks

    Stiff

    Default Yikes...!!

You would do better getting two RSS's cause it would be a bank breaker...Really don't see it.... but welcome to the spyder world and this awesome site. Ryde around and you will get used to your new ryde and take advantage of that storage space....

But about the only way to remove the tail of an RT...

    Involves a Milwaukee SawZall!
All of the side body panels would have to go also...

Sounds good. And no worries. Actually love the rt as well. Just wondered how intense the change would be.

    Site so far is amazing.

    and to the site.

If you start cutting parts off that beautiful RT, you will kill any resale value.

Yeah I won't be taking anything off. I just wondered if it was easy as removing panels and putting different ones on. No biggy.

Looking forward to making that Spyder my own.
