    Default New rear tire

    I got a price for a new tire installed with front end alinement of $562.00 from J&J Motor Sports in Wilmington Del. Is that a fare price? Bike only has 5k and change on it. They will only install BRP approved tires.

    Was going to pop for a new 2015 but saw that I would have to install a new sway bar. Seems like BRP would put a heaver sway bar and other higher end items that we are doing on new bikes...The stock bike is down right dangerous.

    seems a bit high to me..Any other place you can go put your tire on? Or if you are handy talk off the wheel bring it in and have someone else change the tire and put it back on the bike yourself.

    Alignment cost is in the 100 buck area.

    Have you driven the newer model Spyder yet?

    Is the alignment laser alignment? If so, how much are they charging for that?

    A little high. New Kenda installed $189. Laser align $125-135. That,s about average.

    Default New rear tire

    Hello;
    You can find replacement tires for much less @www.veerubber.biz The Vee Rubber Arachnid tires were designed especially for the Can Am and are less than the O.E.M. Kenda.
    But keep in mind the installation is a major factor with either tire.

    Default New tire

    To all of the folks who offered advice on the cost of a rear tire, Thank you for your advice. I'll be looking around for a new shop.

    Laser alignment, change out tire, price was all inclusive.

    As for me doing it myself, I'm not a wrench and I don't have the tools to do it if I could.

    Sounds about right to me. Figure the alignment is about $150, the tire lists for $190, and then add about 2 hours in labor @$100/hr.

    Default Question..

    If you have 5,000 miles pre 14 why are you changing the tire..?? even if that is for the kenda tire mounted and balanced and laser alignment it is on the high side. But then many shops many hourly rates....Tire and alignment should be about 250...

    You don't have to install a new sway bar on any Spyder. The bar that BRP uses is adequate for many riders.
