I didn't know where to add this in, so I just wanted to mention I would be more likely to read an electronic version over print if that is useful to know.

Bi-monthly is my suggestion. Any less then you lose the impact, any more and you have deadline and content issues to contend with.

Done. I would like to see it quarterly at first until it gets traction as well. A digital copy or paper would work for me also.

Six months is definitely too long, but every month might be hard for a publisher to maintain.

Unfortunately, in this day and age print magazines are almost guaranteed to be losers. They've always been a tough business. As the quip goes, it would be a great way to make a small fortune, provided you start out with a large one!
I had a quasi partnership 40 years ago with a guy who was producing a regional magazine in tabloid format, the most economical to produce. He folded after 5 years. During that time we came to the conclusion "The inability of the advertiser to measure the effectiveness of his advertising was the salvation of the advertising industry!"
Wiredux, you need to think long and hard about producing a magazine. The absence of a Spyder centric publication after 8 years tells you something, and it ain't all roses!
