    Default Schuberth C3 Helmet?

Anyone wear the Schuberth C3 Helmet here?

I just got one on Revzilla's black Friday sale. A great fit, but only issue I saw is that the front visor (modular part) is a bit tough to close. Has anyone else noticed that?

I just had to buy a new helmet last month, but the Schubert is what I was wanting. The C3 was $300 off Friday. I'm glad someone got to take advantage of it.

Would you say that this is normal and the latches just need breaking in?

My wife got the C3 Womens, and she loves it. A lot quieter than all the other helmets she has had.

Sorry, forgot to add that she doesn't have any problems like that. On hers, everything works smoothly, and it closes without any problems.

Is it hard to open when it is not on your head? I was trying on helmets at the motorcycle show and I couldn't figure out most of them when they were on my head but I'm sure with practice it would get easier to operate.

No, but I think your right, it will just take time to get used to.

    Default Schuberth C3

W and I both got new C3-Pro AND the new Bluetooth replacement collars. Been wearing Schuberths for years. THEY FIT!! These are the quietest we have had yet. The communication system is also the best yet.

I presently have a 3/4 helmet and thought I'd like to add a full face / modular to my inventory. Especially with the upcoming Spyderfest trip. I was on revzilla last night looking for gloves and boots and saw that the schuberth c3 is still at the $300 price point. Anyone have any updated comments they care to share? I'm wondering about fit in particular, I see they have a sizing chart but would like to know is it true or does it run smaller or larger? I also already have a Sena 20s and see it should fit right in.

After giving this some more use early in December, this has got to be one of the best helmets I have worn. Very quiet and comfortable. There is schuberth communication system you can buy that intigrates as a replacement neckroll. I just got that to replace my sena, but have not installed it yet.

    Default Looks real promising

Appreciate the update, I just finished watching the revzilla videos, and I was pretty impressed. Looks like I can go from a 3/4 to a full face and only add a few ounces of weight compared to my current can ma helmet. Did you notice any sizing variances in the Schuberth versus your previous helmet, or was their sizing chart good?

Yep, the sizing chart is pretty spot on. Plus they sell replacement liners and cheek pads if you get the wrong size. Other then that, the big difference I noticed was reduced noise and wind buffering.

IMHO you really need to try a helmet on before buying, ESPECIALLY a Schuberth helmet.
Not doubting the safety as they are for sure a premium helmet, but their shells are really really flexible/pliable and the "feel" doesn't always appeal to everyone. They fit and go on your head "differently". Some love them, some really hate them.

I was just refreshing myself on RevZillas web site and their return policy is pretty great. If we get the helmets and don't like them, we just pay shipping back and that's it. So if I cant find a local dealer that carries them, which is highly unlikely, then the worst would be im out the return shipping. Now my wife said she would also like one....

BONUS, now it doesn't count against me as an impulse buy!

One other thing i noticed was that I will need to move my Sena to the right side of the Schuberth as the sunvisor mechanism is on the left. So i will need to get used to using my left (non-throttle) hand to reach over to the right side.

Be kinda careful with this thought as there are multiple shell sizes with all helmets (Shoei does 3 shells with many of their helmets). Swapping pads should be to obtain a custom fit/feel, not as a substitute for an improper size to begin with. Schuberth only does 2 shell sizes and they change between L-XL. Just something to keep in mind.

Revzilla is hard to beat for sure. I'm pretty happy to be local.

Excellent point. It's definitely smart to try it on first if you can.
