Found these two caps in the frunk of my 2014 ST-L when I got it home. Any idea what they are? We had a backrest and a trailer hitch installed before we picked it up. Keep them? Throw them away?
They are the caps that keep falling off of the inside of the front wheels.

They are indeed. Had then a few weeks myself before I figured out what they were. They were the rear wheel caps that were removed to install the hitch. So if the front ones fall out you now have the spares, same caps. So, yep keep them.

The caps in the picture are rear axle caps. Save them. They were removed when the trailer hitch was installed. The front axle caps have several small teeth, the rear have the one big one.
the rear ones do not work on the front. Thats why they fall off. The front axles are not hollow and the grip area is only about 3/4"....if you still have the fronts and some adhesive.... out of 15 spyders (last ryde) 1 had both ( 2015) 2 had one left and the rest had none.....

I don't use either the front (fell off) or rear (have hitch) axel caps. I figure it keeps the unsprung weight down (don't you know). I also like to ride a lot to keep the dirt from building up.
