Did you buy one and what are your thoughts? I have the 'shorty' on my RT-S Special..... can you or listed owners answer to the height of this shield? I am wanting something a bit higher than the shorty for winter riding.. but dont really like the height of the standard RT shield.

Thanks in advance for any comments... positive or negative.....

Also can someone measure the height of the shield? I can find nowhere in any documentation of the actual height... just that its 'wider' than the oem.

This is the one that I purchased. It is +4 wide, and 4" shorter. This one works perfect for me.

Four inches shorter than standard pen I figure. I just ordered one. It will b about 8 in higher than the pen shorty that comes on the special. The shorty just doesn't have enough coverage in the winter. I appreciate everyone's replies....
