    Smile Chrome fetish

There are generally two kind of riders. Those who hate chrome and those who love it. I am the later. I am looking for someone that is not happy with a chrome/satin covered muffler that is on their 2015 or above F3 that would be interested in trading. I would pay for shipping both ways. I am also looking to swap my black covers (the ones up near the handlebars that look like hood scoops) for a set of satin or chrome ones.

I just got a f3 limited and removed all the chrome from it including the passenger foot rest supports and mouth piece and windshield supports (is that what u mean by hood scoops?) Was thinking of selling them all though

It's the part just above the grill that has the limited or f3t written on it on the bottom left corner if your looking at it.. I call it a mouth piece but I can be wrong. Lolweb-2-TR1_5090.jpeg

    Default Chrome

The parts I was describing are where the fog lights are. The covers that have Can Am on them. Mine are black. As for the Mouthpiece, I will have to go look and see if mine has one on it.

    Default Well that wont work.

Just went and checked and I believe the chrome/satin piece that I speak of is all made together which makes it about 4 foot long. Doubt anyone would want to swap those out. Not to mention it would have to come from a black bike in order to work.

    Did you say "Chrome"?

I can't help you with your search; but I do understand your fondness for shiny stuff!
    Good luck!

The technical term for it, is "Safety Chrome".
It helps to make the bike more visible; it saves lives!

U can order just that part from a local brp dealer. The part your looking for is called hyper silver and u can find it in the parts section on their Web site. . I've attached the parts list so u can see what part number it is even the price but that's Canadian dollars. Hope this helps.

I used to have a chrome addiction until I realized I was spending more time cleaning than I was riding...hence the user name.

I never really warmed to chrome, too much work to keep looking good! I would rather ride than polish!

Default Which parts do you have?

Is it the muffler or the air ducts?
