Anyone get a "what's it worth" e-mail from BRP?

I received a let's trade it now e-mail from BRP. In the e-mail was a handy dandy "what's it worth" calculator from NADA.

I ran both mine--just out of curiosity. Sad to say, one was about a thousand off my calculations and the other was a couple thousand off.

Needless to say--I am probably going to hang on to both. Each has 23K miles, no mechanical issues and they work for me. If I get the promised call from my dealer, I will be saying Good morning Hal, just looking.

So, what are you folks going to do?

I got the email, too. I didn't even consider it because I have a '16 F3 Limited.

Also if I get a call from my can-am dealership, I'll tell them " I am not trading". Deanna

Got Mine Too- Talked to dealer when picking up oil filter and He says Sales for Spyders are Terrible compared to Jet Skies and Snow Machines??? No wonder they limited it to TWO models to cut their losses on production of the others?

I received the mail too. BRP doesn't sell a Spyder I'm interested in buying. When they have a model that isn't the "cruiser" riding position and isn't an RT I'll be interested. Until then I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I received the same email. I started to see what it is worth and when they asked for my address and name quit ... . Went to NADA web site and what do you know...voila I saw 'what it's worth' and won't get that local dealers calls...just sayin'

....With so many F3 versions now available, and if true the RT still outsells the other models, I often wonder what Can Ams next model line upgrade will be, other than BNG or minor electronics upgrades.

2018 may just tell the rest of the story...
BRP has reached the crossroads: what happens next will either kill the Spyder line-up; or re-define it for the next Chapter...

Like many of you I also stopped at the point where they requested personal information. This morning I went to the NADA site and found a few interesting things. First, when you go to the motorcycle page they have different styles to choose from including trailers where the picture you click to enter the site is of the RT-622 trailer. Two, this site didn't ask for mileage where the email site did. I was really curious about what kind of hit they made for mileage. Third, on the NADA site when you get to the page where they show the values for a specific model they have a tab for "specifications" and for a 2014 RTS they show it has a 998 motor. So I wouldn't give much value to the value they give.

I found it odd that they picture the RT-622 trailer but don't have Can-Am available as one of the manufacturers to choose from. Also, they only have trailer prices up to 2009.

Well...I ran the reply and got what would make me happy.

HOWEVER, I know they have my phone and address SO...if it ain't Pit Bull Can Am in Springfield, they can forget about making me a deal. I am prepared to drive to Springfield and trade.

I also filled out the appraisal and did not like it either I am keeping/and not trading mine.

I am still paying on mine, and there is nothing out there that I like! Also, I have mine the way I like it now. ( the farkles that I have done to it).

I got one, but ignored it. I have a paid for Spyder that still has a warranty until June of 2018 - I'll keep ryding it.
