Portable compressor for rear tire

I was wondering what portable air compressor will work best on rear tire of RT.
Front seems to be no problem.

This one will fit at the bottom of the rear trunk. It works slowly but effectively, lots of connection options, lightweight and easy to carry.

There are several but I finally opted to carry a co2 cartrige pump. Some compressors will blow fuses and take time. If you go with a compressor 12V make sure you remove as much of the load as possible....

I have my Battery Tender Jr connected directly to the battery through the frunk battery door. It has an inline 7A fuse. I have a Harley portable compressor, http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...sor-with-light, with a cable long enough to easily reach the battery tender pigtail and has a 7A draw. The compressor comes with a screw on valve extension hose vice a quick disconnect chuck but I consider that a non-issue. Disclosure: I own no Harley stock and have never owned a Harley bike but nevertheless think the compressor is a very well made accessory.

Bike shops, motorcycle or bicycle some plug kits come with them. I use the mushroom plugs and the kit comes with everything to plug your tires..if you Google mushroom plug kit it will come up or if you can't find them I can get the brand for you...

On the 1500 Goldwings there was a Schraeder valve and extension tube in the side box that you could use to pump up the tyres. It was tapped off the rear air suspension and you used the "UP" button to inflate you tyre. Is the air pump on the Spyder good enough to use the Schraeder valve under the seat for the same purpose.

I really doubt the std compressor would be up to that Flier Tuck, it's barely up to keeping the ACS supplied with air & one of their common failings occurs when they hafta pump continuously for a relatively short while due to air bag or valve leaks!! It doesn't take much of that continuous operation to fry the stock compressor, but the Viair 097C seems to be a pretty good & capable replacement when that happens!

One thing to watch out for with this particular Slime model is that it does not have an integrated gauge. This means that you pump, guess, remove, use manual gauge, reconnect, pump, guess remove etc etc etc. I know because.....well, you can work out how I know......I upgraded to the Slime model with the integrated gauge The ease of use, especially for the rear tyre, well and truly compensates for slightly larger size for me.
