High Mile 2014 RT-S
I bought a new 2014 RT-S #4036 June 13th, 2014. I ride a lot, but I want to know if
anybody has passed the 50,000 mile mark, the 75,000 mile mark? the 98,000 mile mark?
I live in Ohio and tomorrow I will pass 98,000. I lost 3 months of riding in October '14 thanks to
a wayward deer, but still find a way to pile up the miles.
Anybody have more?

Depends....
We have several that have well over the 100,000 but not on the same spyder. I do know of several that ryde with me who have passed at least the 80,000 but that was on the older V-twin... Check with Ann from Squared Away she is a demon on putting on miles....

Our 2013 ST-S SE5 has a grand total of 1,723 miles on it.
To be fair, we have only had it a few weeks, and got it with 1,400 miles on it.

I will say that when I saw the title of this thread "High Mile 2014 RT-S" I was hoping that someone was looking to buy a high mileage 2014.

My first glance at this thread registered in my pea brain as "Mile High ..." which made me think it was going to ask about a Mile High RT Club, which made me wonder how you could do that on an Spyder.
Guess I shouldn't have stayed up all last night destroying brain cells over the prez race.

Fyi the Bmw owners group has a long distance division and those guys routinely put on100,000 miles a year. The mens mileage winner one year put on 150,000 miles in one year! Wow

But Ann has been piling on her miles, at a much faster rate!
(Three riding seasons; to his nine...)
Now that I own a RS, I wonder how many valve adjustments were needed for those miles?

I don't think that he ever had the valve covers off of it... until he replaced a leaky gasket.
