    Default OSR are DEAD

I have been told that Rob and others have decided the the OSR organization is dead.
why not use this site and start regional groups?

I don't have a clue what OSR is , but right here at the bottom of the Forum page all of the states are listed there for posting and coordinating various chapter/club/regional activities.

Been with MC clubs since 2001. They come and go mostly due to lack of interest, bad leadership or not meeting the wishes of the group in general.

When you talk only, it gets even more difficult. I tried to organize an AK group in 2008. Not enough local interest to maintain the club beyond that first year.

We parted company with the other club (that welcomed all brands) a couple years ago. Leadership changed and most thought that the new direction was not good.

Linda and I now ride pretty much by ourselves. We get an occasional rider that wants to come along--but that is the exception rather than the rule.

The OSR was founded by two very enthusiastic Spyder Ryders who's only objective was to share there love of the Spyder with others and extend invitations to other Spyder Ryders to join them on the road exploring Ohio and beyond. About 4 years or so into the organization of the OSR it became so large and overwhelming, it collapsed within itself. There was the web site, corporate sponsors, and the formation of the highly successful Pennsylvania Spyder Ryder group. All of the above along with 60 plus ryders showing up at events proved to be two much for the organizers to handle. ( you try to accommodate 60 riders with different skill levers, ages 25 to 80, it is not easy)

The above is my opinion, I enjoyed many rydes with the OSR. My hat goes off to Eric and Rob, they devoted countless hours and personal finances to promote the OSR. They only had the best interest of the organization in mind, it was never about personal gain.
