Default New Federal Formoza AZ01 Front tires 165-55-15 replaces Federal EVO tire for Spyders

Federal Formosa AZ01 front F3S Spyder tires (165-55-15) are new High Performance tires that have good grip/handling, smoother riding, not as firm riding as the EVO.
Formoza AZ01 tire has wide rain grooves. I run 17# front tires.
I feel an improvement in cornering grip with Formoza AZ01 tires on my 2015 F3S SE6 Spyder. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIAB0Y48R8175
(Front Federal EVO tires gave me 18,000 miles wear on F3S Spyder). Update email from Garcia at OnLine Tires: "for 2 Federal 595 EVO tires. After numerous attempts to order these tires we were unfortunate to find out that these tires are on back order. Speaking to the manufacture directly they informed us that these tires will not be available until the end of the month of October"; (may have been replaced by new Formoza AZ01 tires.)
(Rear Yokohama S Drive 205-55-15 tire gave me 15,500 miles wear on 2015 F3S SE6 Spyder).
Yokohama S Drive 205-55-15 rear tire, is a great handling, excellent grip, & good wear for a High Performance rear tire on my 2015 F3S Spyder. I run 23# rear tire.

EBC new Rotors/EBC brake pads front & rear 2015 F3S Spyder give even better stopping now; (ordered from BajaRon). (I got 21,300 miles on stock brake pads).
Just sharing helpful Spyder info from my 2015 F3S riding experience; tire options for Spyders.
    Enjoy your rydes.

Just starting to break in my Yokohama S, SFSG. It'll be a while until I'm ready for fronts, but I'll keep these in mind. Thanks!

On my 2010 RSS I got 37,000 miles out of the stock front tires! The rears were a sad story but told many times here. Just got my F3s so don't know about their tire wear.

I was gong to order the Evo for a customer and they told me they were out of stock from the manufacturer for 8 weeks. They didn't say they were discontinued. I might just try the one you got as a replacement. I ran 2 sets of Evo's on my 14 RT and got nearly 30,000 miles on each set.

I went ahead and ordered some for my bike. Newegg had free shipping and no sales tax.

Just ordered a set on Amazon shipped free from CA for around $100/pair. Have the Yoko on the back and am happy with it so far since last Sept.
