It is really pretty simple. The additional cost for spyders in Australia is the cost to convert them to "right had drive"!

here in uk prices are even more, £26995 for rt 2017 limted. I found price reasonable when I visited oz in feb 16, 40000 oz dollars =£21,000 uk so cheaper.

So an RT in uk is $45500 Australian

Not as silly as it may sound. They do have differnt headlights and they "dip" the other way for right hand drive , plus other bits and pieces to satisfy Australian Design Rules.Things like the additional white reversing lights on RS models.
