I wish Dianese would being their vest to the US. It is far less bulky and uses electronic sensors to trigger it.

I believe that this type of riding gear will protect you in a much wider range of conditions, than does this:

I consider the best equipment you can have is a level head, good sense and self control--not to mention
common sense and awareness of what is around you.
The second is the Helmut and the third maybe the "air bag". Watch for those wheels start to roll at
intersections and for pete sake slow down when driving through intersections whether you have the right
away or not. It will eventually save your life.

Hi SpyderLovers! Just wanted to jump on here to answer any questions you may have about Helite. There is a lot of information to learn about when choosing which airbag system is best for your ride.
Also, since there is a lot of member interest for airbag protection, I created a discount code you can use at helitemoto.com. Enter code SPYDER at checkout.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for producing these!
(1) how much is the discount?
(2) any women's jackets? I'm like 5'5" 115 lbs and don't think the men's ones will fit

Hi! The discount is good for 10% and one free demo cartridge($25). We are working on a women's leather jacket that should be out next year, but the vests outsell the jackets by far. A rider has more versatility with a vest, and it is comfortable in any temperature.
Most women under 135 lbs. fit into a small vest. The vest weighs about 3 lbs, and is available in black or hi-viz yellow.
Thanks!

To be honest I think you saved more with ordering it from Revzilla because we would have had to charge sales tax which is 9.5%, plus you get RevZilla bucks which is a nice perk.
Thank you for your order!

I bought the vest but don't know where to anchor the tether. Called Helite and they didn't have an answer. Do you know?
-
How about the handlebars??
Alternately: could you hook it behind you, to the passenger grab-rails?

Does anyone have a picture of the configuration under the seat on their can-am? It would help us determine a good location for the tether. Thank you!
-
How about the useless helmet lock, that's under the left-hand side of the seat?

If were are talking about the same thing the "lock" is just a 1/2 plastic arm. Will that be sturdy enough and long enough to handle the tether?

I have a Hit Air jacket and tethered it to the handlebar. You might also find a location under the seat.

Helite makes a BIG point of saying do not attach to handle bar

Nichole, First I want to thank you creating a discount code for us. Next a question. If the airbag is inflated can it be reused? Or do you need to buy a new vest/ jacket?
Thanks Jeff
