Front Bumper 2014 RTS
Just got my new front bumper installed on my 2014 RTS. Got it from Value Accessories and it is a Rivco product. Easy install. You do need two people to complete. Great product.

Should be great protection for front end. Some curbs are too high.

Front Bumper
I'm still waiting on someone to answer how it bolts on? To the frame or plastic?
-
Well: there's no frame up that close to the nose of the bike...

$250 black. $300 chrome.

Rear connection is made through two existing holes in the frame. Tou will need to get the front end op on a ramp. At least 8 inches will make it a lot easier to install.

I have replied to cost and installation. For so.e reason they show up on spyderlovers but not here.

I am still skeptical as to what if any protection it will do.. I see more damage with this thing installed if you hit something . JMO

My main resason for getting was for those curb bumps when parking. When installed it is rock solid.

Has anyone gotten this AND the skid plates that Rivco makes that complement the bumper? Im torn between the spyderpops bumpskid vs this bumper and skid plate combo from Rivco.

No problem....
I just back in .... but really do have the bumpskid for the skid part. That was before there was a bumper and skid plate combo looks good and undoubtedly works well.

I did the bumper and have seen no need to have the skidplate.

I may still have the oem skid but know it was pretty badly beaten up. I can run my hand across the bottom of my bumpskid and feel the scratches and gouges. Mind you I never ran over anything but stuff flies under you ...

I like the basic idea of this item...
But I bought the Bumpskid for the opportunity to put more lighting down the road in front of me...
Which is more important to you: Being seen, or being solid?
