    Leaving an appliance connected
while the engine is not running
    will gradually discharge the battery.
    NOTE:
When fuse 6 is installed in the
RH fuse box, 12 V power outlet is only
operational when ignition switch is at
ON position. When fuse 7 is installed,
12 V power outlet is always operational.

    Check your fuses...
(The ones in the Right-Hand fusebox...)
It'll probably be in position #6...

She was riding when it went dead and where are the fuse boxes?

Got it, Thanks, it was out and not it works. Why would a bump in the road take out a fuse?

You may have a potential short and the "bumb" was enough to to blow the fuse. Check your wiring by wiggling your wires to you XM and see if the fuse blows again.

I'm glad to hear that you found the "What"...
Now, it's the "Why", that needs addressing...

I have my Xm radio plugged in in the truck also, and it doesn't seem to lock in well, and at times gets loose in the soscket. If it get's loose enough it could cause an arc which could cause the fuse to blow.

Personally I think the fuses are essentially the same (as far as their basic function). Only if a particular brand fuse did not fit properly into its socket, but I think this is unlikely.
Old saying: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I personally wouldn't bother with a feature like "lighting up". I'm imagining how they might create that feature, and it is not good.
