Vee Rubber VTR-350 Arachnid
Has anyone tried these tires out? Time to replace the rear tire (again) and I thought I might try something that MAY give me better milage.

From what we've heard: these tires don't last much longer than the OEM Kendas
Sorry...

That is why I was asking (Thank you) No point putting them on then. Might just read the threads and maybe try the Toyo, Yokohama or maybe the Uniroyal Rainsport.
Many thanks

I'm not a fan of the Arachnid. I just put another General Altimax on my bike this week. I got nearly 18,000 out of it and probably could have gone a few thousand more image.jpg

I'm curious Ann, what PSI did you usually have that tire at ???..........I've got a Michelin with 19,000 and I think I can go another 10,000 ....I don't tow but do ride aggressive ......... Mike

. It's a Hydro-Edge and un-fortunately they stopped making this model a couple years ago ....I run mine at 21 PSI cold ... I ride single but don't add any if going double .... The sidewalls are much stiffer than Kenda's and can easily support he weight........Mike

Vee Rubber
I put a Vee on my 2010 RT last year and now have about 4000 miles on it. YMMV since I got 13,000 out of my Kenda and I might just be the exception. I think one of the big keys is the air pressure. My dealer said 25 cold and that's what I've done on both tires now. As for the front Kendas they have over 17,000 on them and still look great.

I just replaced mine at 8 K because I was going on a trip and didn't want to chance it.
They wear more on the outside than stock did in the middle.
I probably could have gotten another 4K out of them but then again who knows..
Testing a new tire now to see how this pans out this time.
