Surging...
I have faintly noticed when cruzing down the highway at speed ( anywhere between 50-75) I would feel the bike slightly surging. However there is no notice of RPM change, just can slightly feel it. At first I thought it was wind buffet in but know that is not the case. Yesterday at 65 I really felt it a lot stronger than before.
I have a 2011 RTL SE5 with 31000k on it.
I have recently replaced :
iridium plugs and wires
the 2 vacumn lines (cracked)
New fuel filter
new air filter
purge valve (was sticking open)
Many thoughts or ideas?

Reboot...
Maybe with everything you changed the ECM is a little confused because of trying to run the engine as it was before. I would disconnect the battery for a while to reset the ECM & let it relearn with the new parts. Good luck.

My question now with 31,000 miles on the bike a 2011 RT my thought the fuel pump may possibly be going?
has anybody had to replace their fuel pump out there at 31,000 miles or less or somewhere around there? What does anybody think? I'm planning on going on 150 mile ride tomorrow and we'll see how it goes.
