2016 F3 T Digital RPM showing 1k less RPM than the guage
I noticed while riding last weekend the digital rpm and rpm gauge were about 1000 rpm off from each other. The gauge was showing higher and felt and sounded like it was running a bit rougher. Anyone able to provide any suggestions of what to look into for this? Oil level is good, fluids are all good. not sure what else to check. Thanks in advance.

are you kidding ride and enjoy

If I was kidding I wouldnt be asking. I bought it used and spent a lot of money on it. Want to make sure my investment isnt going to die on me owning it less than a year.

Are you aking about the engine running rough or how to fix the difference between the gauges?

Run it up to the redline and see which one reads accurately.

First, find out which one is incorrect. Get a third digital gage that will connect to either the coil or have an inductive pickup from a coil wire. Disregard the one that does not comply. Neither gage is adjustable. As far a running rough, compare yours to another F3. Your F3 is new to you, so you need to develope a baseline of how it performs.
