    Smile Finally, after 6 long, long weeks!

    I'll have my '12 Spyder RT-L back for the weekend! Air scoop kit, new ball joints, and a ridiculously expensive BRP alignment, all paid for with Other People's Money. I sure hope the wait was worth it!

    Default What a difference!

    My Spyder rydes like it's supposed to!
    I picked it up and rode it home, taking the long way with fast twisties. No more darting about- I was able to control it with two fingers at 55 mph on a straight stretch.
    I felt much more confident, even after 6 weeks of downtime. Going into the curves wasn't the exercise in fear control that it was

    Now I have to unlearn all the bad habits I picked up trying to ride this thing.

    It turned out that the left wheel was toe-out by an inch, and the right by about half an inch. The ball joints were fairly smooth, but there were rough spots.
    My SmoothSpyder is in my garage, so I'm gonna go mount it.
