And who said cats cannot be trained?
Not mine. My tomcat Sammy has learned to jump on the end table by the treat bag every time he wants some. He then gives me "those eyes." The Princess stays wherever she is "throned" and looks at me with those "eyes" that say she also wants a treat. She expects hers to be hand delivered.
I guess we know who is "trained" in this situation. The old saying seems to work well:
If you have dogs, you have friends for life. If you have cats, consider yourself as their servants. I love them anyway.

It's also a way to regulate how much the cat eats. Some will eat till it's gone. I saw three whiffle balls. I wonder how many balls there are every day for the cat to find.

My cat would probably tease one of my dogs with the ball till they crashed into device & spilled food everywhere lol  (fyi her queen position, dogs cant get buy her without her permission)
