Over here that would get you raise eyebrows when you told someone where you lived, and more likely a slap from a fair madden

Isn't it weird that in AMERICA our flag and our culture offend so many people......
but our benefits don't?

If you even tried to name a place like some of those, you would probably get slapped with a lawsuit as well!

My guess is that places with names like that have been named for quite some time, such as Intercourse, PA and French Lick, IN. I think that if you tried to name a place or road with a name that is suggestive nowadays, you would be met with strong resistance from the do-good censures.

Would you inquire about the availability of a flat for me on "Busty View"...
I'd never want to leave!
Not Busty View but Busty Lane in a village near me. There's a real old English pub there too!

Could I throw in one more?
From Ft. Wayne, IN, next to Johnny Appleseed's grave (yes there really was a Johnny Appleseed--John Chapman). Bordering the park was Harry Balls Drive.
One may do a double take on this one. When spoken, one gets all kind of scary thoughts.
In reality--Harry Balls was a former Ft. Wayne, IN mayor.

We have a few names like that here in Aus too - names like Iron Knob, Rooty Hill, Long Weenie Creek, Yorkey's Knob, Wantabadgery & my favourite, Numbugga. It's a really cold little place not too far from the town of 'Hell Hole Hate'!!
