Default just wondering if we are the only ones?

My wife and I like to look for Harley shops whenever we go to a new area to get a shirt from that area. The reason a Harley shop, is to let people know we rode in that area. We would love to pull into a BRP shop but the shirts don't give locations. Are there other riders that do this? Just wondering.

    Back when,........
I always stopped at a HD dealer to get a shirt or 2.
That stopped in the early 90s.

Same here is good sales tactic for HD. Fyi they now have added poker chips & a display case. [emoji106] not bad i would like ti see BRP to do same ive made few buds jealous with these as the only one they can get is the Rt66 chip. (At the visitor center Springfield fyi). & i tend to rub it in as any good bud would do

I used to do that,I have quite a few but now the shirts are too expensive. I didn't own a Harley then and I don't now so I don' think I'll be paying a premium for somebody elses shirt. I too would love to see the local Spyder dealers do this.

I don't buy Harley shirts but there are few dealers that have Can am logos with the location. My dealer in Kissimmee (Central Fl. Power Sports is one) but few and far between. Also picked one up in Hellam Pa from Don's when we were riding in New England a few years back, another one in your state is Can Am of Windber,Pa.
. I think Can Am is losing some good sales on this. Also did you know if you are AAA member you can get a discount on Harley shirts.

For decades I got tee shirts from HD dealerships. Last few years I got chips or dots. BRP! Do this! Small charms or discs that have Spyder on one side, dealer info on other. Folks love this!! I know I do!

I attended a seminar in which Tom Peters made the statement that "when someone gets your logo tattooed on their butt, you know that you have become a success". Of course he was referring to the HD logo.

I know a bit off topic. Sorry.

Personally, I don't collect T-shirts. I collect pins, but the idea is the same, it's just that I can collect more pins in less volume than T-shirts.
On the face of it, you CAN'T be the only one collecting them. There is a whole business founded on these T shirts.
I need to update this photo. The hanger got so full of pins, I had to make a bigger one.

    I've got my PitBull Tee-shirt...

I used to buy lots of Dealership Tee-Shirts, but I've also backed away from the practice.
(I think that I've down to just three of them...)

I in the same boat. Rode Suzuki and Kawasaki bikes but stopped at HD dealerships for the 3 button Henley shirts. The shirts are all work out because I got too cheap to buy them but loved to collect them, like the memories of riding.

I have kind of run the gamut over the years. Started with baseball caps from all over. When moving from WI to AK I sold over 50 assorted--and all like new.

Also collected t-shirts. Still have a few left, but they are on the grungy side now.

Bought a few CanAm decorated shirts and gear when I first got the bug. Don't do that anymore either.

I do like to collect pins. The vest is now so heavy that I don't wear it--just for display purposes these days. Why display, I like to impress myself once in awhile.

Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

I did the same thing with pins. I have one vest I can't wear any more for the same reason, a hat with model railroad and railroad union pins that is like putting on a helmet, a wall hanger my daughter made me full of Olympic pins and a drawer ful I don't know what to do with. And bags full of patches. If there is more then one of something I'll collect it.
