PPA Wheels Looking for Member input
Was hoping all on here could help us out with a little market research in order for us to order the wheels people are looking for. We currently have three designs in two finishes each; black with machined face and chrome. We ask that you take a look at our wheel lineup and let us know your top three choices. We have our favorites, but like to hear from as many as possible. For those wondering about current stock status, we have our Widow 15 and Widow 15 chrome on the way to the warehouse. As soon as they arrive, we will be letting everyone know.
Also we've been asked if our wheels will fit Spyders prior to 2013. We are working with our local dealer and will be doing physical checks on older models as they bikes become available.
Thanks
Sean

Interesting.. Like the Orb 15 chrome and then the Widow 15 chrome. Don't like the other... See Lamont about becoming a sponsor if you haven't already.

Thanks for your input . Became a sponsor last week. Maybe easier for people to give their input if I add this image. Please share your thoughts on the designs.

They look good thanks for some options , know from reading forum here there is a number of complaints for the valve location mainly on rear tire just a fyi, I cant speak for everyone but we like some more interesting designs but still need them ez to clean.
Know those two contradict each other.

I think they look great (especially the chrome). But for me, I am all about the ease of cleaning them. If they are easier to clean, then I will be more likely to wash them, and they will last longer.

I like the Widow Chrome...will show off the brakes and be easier to clean.

I like the machined wheels, 2A, 1A, 3A preference sequence. I'm looking for new front wheels too and yours look like they'll add a nice sporty flair.

Thank you to all that have given their input. Please keep the comments coming. As an FYI, currently we are only focused on the front wheels as the rear is difficult to see in most cases. I agree that cleaning the rear is a pain in the butt . I can attest that cleaning on our Widow design is not an issue. Running a set on my F3 and don't have any issues using a micro fibre wash mitt.

In order to keep the price at a point that you don't have to ride with one arm after the purchase, these are all cast wheels. Prices for the black with machined face finish is $425 USD and the chrome PVD finish is $479 USD. I personally like the Widow and the Recluse designs.

New wheels
What could be another option is to have machined wheels with the color to match the Spyder they were to go on. Just a thought. My choice would be machined units.

I really like the 2A but can see that keeping them clean would be more of a challange then option 1A or 3A.

I like the Widow (1A) the best.

Since I don't do chrome my preference would be 3A then 1A. Are 2As mirror image?

It's the 3A for me. After my Harley days I am so over chrome. I hate that crap, I'll take black.

Thanks everyone for their input so far. So far the black and machined designs have a slight edge on the chrome and a dead heat between each design. Appreciate all the comments. If you have visited the web site and noted that all the styles say sold out, it is because we are still waiting for inventory to land. I will for sure keep everyone updated when they arrive.
For those inquiring about the larger diameter sizes, Yes we are working on a 17" wheel. I am holding off on releasing all the details until I have my off tool samples and I can perform some road testing. We decided on 17" and not 16" due to the offering of tires that would not cause NANNY issues. Finding a 16" tire that would still fit under the fenders and similar diameter was the issue. We did find 17" tires that will fit and are only slightly larger in diameter then the stock 15". My concern, and it was mentioned by a member as well, is that the side wall height will be approximately only 3" and may cause some issues with driveability. Less tire to flex could cause the bike to want to change direction quickly just from road conditions, as well as the impact from pot holes and such. For anyone that has increase the wheels on their car by 2", I'm sure you understand my concern. Hopefully all works out and we can release it to the public.
