I average 35 MPG on my 2015 RT. That equates to a range of around 200 miles before all the bars are gone on my gas gauge. The farthest I have ever dared to go is 210 miles.

I have just completed the first 1000 miles on my 2016 RT Ltd, the trip indicates 38 mpg overall. Really starting to have fun now, after adjusting from 150k miles on two wheels. Enjoy.

For the first 14,000 miles; I've been averaging 38.1 mpg.
I normally travel between 210, and 225 miles. before stopping for fuel.
If I take out the trip to SpyderFest this year (A high-speed run!); I'm averaging over 40 mpg.

I have a 2010 RT and am getting around 110-120 when it hits empty on the gauge, but don't know how much more I could go before the fuel light would have come on, and how much more it would go after the fuel light would come on. Have not risked it because don't know what to expect yet. Have owned it 3 weeks tomorrow.

The last 12 months I've averaged 35 mpg. A lot of those miles were with a group and at relatively low speed. When I am riding to work and the speed limit is 75, I average about 32 or less.

My record for a 2010 RT is 185 miles and 5.8 gallons. My fuel light usually would come on at about 150.
Try setting your A meter to zero when filling up. Fill to the same level each time. I fill to about 1/4 inch below the fill ring. It takes a couple extra squirts to get it right. Total miles divided by number of gallons will give you the ballpark. I carry mine out to one decimal point. 4.35896 would be 4.4. I round my mpg to the nearest whole number. 31.3 would be 31 mpg. IMO: carrying out mpg calculations to multiple places implies more accuracy than we are getting. There are to many factors involved to go much beyond basic.

What are you refering to the "A Meter"

That would be the trip meters. You have an A and a B and the ability to toggle between them. We use the A to keep track of miles on the tank and the B as a cumulative trip meter. Either can be zeroed out. Give this a try. If you run into issues with how to zero or toggle, re post. You need to use the mode button to toggle to the main screen. I think its two presses. You will get radio station adjustment first, then A & B meters.

Since my wife began riding regularly with me I find when we're two up I get much better mileage because the hooligan has to stay home.

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Press your "Mode" button, until you see "Trip A" in the middle of your screen.
If you pick one of them and use it as a re-fueling reminder: just zero it out with each gas stop.
Just follow the instructions on your screen, and it's easy!
Ok, trip meter. You threw me with the A meter term.

I can agree with that! When riding two-up on my ST, we often got better than 50 mpg. Alone riding to work, 42 mpg.

I think that it might have something to do with the aerodynamics...

40 ish. Lower at higher speeds ( 75+) 6.9 gallions ( if you fill it to the brim) 250 miles should be ok at a reasonable pace.

I'm around 35 mpg on my 2014. I get gas around 200 miles on the tank.
I most often use my Spyder as a daily driver back and forth to work, so I've got stop lights, etc.
On the highway, around 60 or 65, I can see 40 mpg.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

Riding in the mountains over last weekend stretched two tanks to 225 miles plus and only put around 5 gals in at fill-up. Both tanks only had about 50 miles of the total on the interstate, and speed in the twisties was usually 40's 50's. Speed does make a difference as well as wind direction!

MPG over 6,000 miles
Just got back from a 6,000 mile trip on our 2015 RT Limited which included Key West, Washington DC, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Tail of the Dragon. We averaged 35 MPG for the trip while pulling a trailer and riding double up. This is a significant improvement over our 2012 RT where we would be lucky to get 25 MPG.

Graph of MPG
The graph below illustrates the difficulty of accurately assessing gas mileage. It shows my tank by tank mpg to date for my 2014 RTS beginning shortly after I started riding it this past spring.

MPG and range are totally dependent on a variety of factors, so it's really hard to say my bike get X mpg or goes X miles on a tank of fuel. My Spyder has done a low of 23 mpg and a high of 50 mpg and both figures were totally dependent on the riding conditions at the time.
