Nah.
We drove the shortest distance, we just went through the most weather unfriendly to bikes. Nothing compared to Ontario-typical weather, I'm sure, Bruce!
(When we hit the snow, Barb calmly kept smacking the side of my helmet.
When I turned around and yelled, "WHAT?" she just said, "You're crazy."
I think I greeted RoadDog first when we got to Brattleboro. He said "Tatt2r has an idea for rerouting the banner this week." I said, "What? We FedEx the darn thing to Los Angeles?!"
At that moment I was a bit cold, hungry, and one of my ears were ringing as if my helmet had been repeatedly smacked...but I got ungrumpy fast when we met everybody and the sun came out and we ate good food.

Again, it was really good to put names to faces and meet up with you all.
Are you sure your puppy wasn't there?!
So that's Dee, Marilyn--DynamoBT--, and Ron from left to right. OK, bjt?!

Actually, this one was taken by another patron at the diner, right tatt2r?
(And, Lamont, not that I ever pay attention to detail, but you missed a state with the banner route: This is the real path it has taken so far.)

What a great day! I'm home safe and sound after an excellent "Breakfast Served All Day" meal with a bunch of wonderful fellow Spyderlovers members.
175 miles total for the day, some of it on slushy, wet VT roads. The lowest temp on the dash was 33F over the VT mountains between Bennington and Searsburg. The highest 60F when coming out of the Royal Dinner after eating.
I've said it before, the Spyder and Bushteck trailer combo handles even better than the Spyder alone! The extra weight of the trailer just seems to make the thing even easier to drive in the twisty stuff and the power (torque) band of the engine is perfectly matched to the job of hauling it all up the hills.
Great to meet you all.

Aw, they had donuts?!
On the way home in Pittsfield, MA
(The reason we live in Clarksburg now is because we have lived in Ozone Park, Flushing, and have both worked in Pittsfield.
Wanted a town name that didn't sound like it was made up for a cartoon movie...)
These photos are awesome, HDX. Thanks loads. Thanks for the recommendation on the C.H.A.D., too.
Still owe you lunch at Brewhaha (Hayabusa diner) or the Blue Benn. Offer good all summer!
