The old saying says "the road to hell is paved with good intentions", but in Michigan, the road to hell is paved with potholes. Good test for Spyder suspension and fasteners.

Just one more thing Michigan and southern Ontario have in common!

Having eight good looking SpyderLovers (and six Spyders) there did wonders for the place....

I have been in contact with daddydarko and we are setting up a meet time so he can take the banner to Rolling Thunder. If I am unable to meet with him I will make arrangements to get it to someone in Ohio or PA that can get it headed that way by the weekend of the 15th. Timing is everything you know. LOL

I'm willing to meet with anyone in the next few days who wants to take up the banner to continue its journey. Anywhere within a few hours ride of Grand Blanc, Michigan is good for me. Those who wish to carry on the "torch" speak up.

Relax, man.
My daughter and I will grab the banner that bjt left with me, we'll swing by Ev and Pat to pick up the Sharpie from NMN, and we'll scoot out to Salem, NH tonight to hand it off to you, OK?
('Course, only if the weather is lousy and border patrol is involved...)
Oh, wait---I gotta run down to Connecticut for some Swiffers, chrome skulls, and Jelly Donuts first from Smylinacha, HDX, and RoadDog. I also need to borrow DDeyles' new coffee maker.

With a sharpie that big I dont see why it is so hard to keep track of. It's not like the pens from the banks, ya can't just stick it in your pocket.

Time to get this banner rolling again.
daddydarko and I don't seem to be having a lot of luck getting our schedules to mesh. I have been really busy at work and it seems he is as well. I know he will catch up with and sign the banner at Rolling Thunder no matter how it gets there. Here is my latest and greatest idea. Sat. May 16th, I am willing to drive to the Cleveland area if I have to go that far. Are there any Ohio or Penn Spyders that could meet me there to pick up this banner and get it headed to Rolling Thunder for Memorial Day? If I get a few folks that will meet me there, I will make the drive. How bout it guys, let's get this thing moving again. Having the Sharpie this long is taking it's toll on bjt.

Come on Ohio and PA spyders
Hey guys, Yes!!! Sat. the 16th it is. I am thinking of meeting where the Ohio Turn Pike meets I-480 just south west of Cleveland, near North Ridgeville. I believe there is an exit there. I want something easy on, easy off and easy to get to a place to meet for a cheap quick bite to eat and a passing off of the banner. So if you have any ideas of restaurants in that area, I am open to suggestions. This will be about a 3.5 to 4 hour ride each way for us. I hope every one else can get there that would like to meet up. It would be nice to gather some more spyders. Right now it looks like two OH spyder and 1 PA spyder and bjt and me for this one. Would like to make it bigger so invite your friends. From here the banner will enter into PA and then on to Rolling Thunder for Memorial Day. This is pretty exciting.

Details for Sat. May 16th!!
The Banner is going to Ohio, we are going to meet at Pizza Hut
27845 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, OH. This is just north about 1/2 mile from where the Turn Pike meets I-480. I'll plan on being there around 2:00pm. We can sign the banner, socialize a bit and have some lunch. I haven't met a spyderlover yet I didn't like. From here MSGTDOC is taking the banner on to Rolling Thunder. So gather your spyder friends and come on out and sign the banner and have some good times and some pizza with us.
Deb
