Default Who uses a RotopaX gas can?

Thinking about adding an RotopaX gas can to Freedom trailer. Anybody have any experience with them?

I owned a Nomad from Mini Trailer USA a couple of years ago and installed a RotoPax gas can on it. Never had to use it, but I was glad it was there. That was when I owned a '13 RT L and you were looking for gas at 100 miles. Now, I don't carry extra gas.

    Default RotoPak

I have them for both gas and water on my trailer. They work great.
I have never really had to use them, but I do on occasion to keep the gas cycled.

To add some options look at daystar cam can. the triangular can on back. Fyi stackable & locks in place on a post made mainly for 4X4 off road but have few mount options to work with

I have a 1.75 gallon rotopax which I put in a milk crate like container and stored it in the front portion of my then 622 trailer. It worked really well and no fumes or smell permeated the trailer.

We used three 2 gallon ones on a trip once. They helped us get from one gas station to the next. Worked great! No fumes, no leaks.

With gas in them, they will expand and contract with the ambient temps, but they are tough as nails.

One of the guys on our North to Alaska trip last year had 2 of them attached to the tongue on his RT-622 trailer. None of us ever needed to use any of the fuel.

I mounted one to the generator box on my HF Tag-Along trailer to keep the generator filled. I can bungee-cord it to my Spyder's aluminum plate on the top box for trips to the gas station. Works great when camping!
