I would not argue with those findings. Actually we could take alignment further as we had to with rotating equipment. The out put pulley on the transmission should be in correct alignment with the rear wheel sprocket. This failure could account for the drive belt moving. For the drive belt to walk back and forth, normally it would take a wobble of one or both sprockets. This wobble could be as little as manufacturing tolerance. This is not an absolute, as in many years of having trouble shooting as a major part of my vocation, I have seen " Murphy's Law " at work too often. I also believe that Finnigan was correct when he said Murphy was an optimist. With this said, the alignment of the output pulley to the drive sprocket, along with the belt movement, should be unrelated to the handling of the Spyder. The belt alignment I spoke of in previous posts was not the drive belt, but the belts in the tires. On mine, my tires were built with these belts misaligned. This will cause a wheel to wobble.

I guess your reality differs from mine.

I didn't see the drive belt "walking all over the pulley" and ending up in a different place every time.

Just sayin' so must make it so.

Anyone can watch the vid and make their own mind up whether or not the belt goes all over the pulley as you have repeatedly stated.

    Default Handling Issue

I too have put Vee rubber all around on my 09 RS SE5 and have ride on in all the tires (used La Monsters recommendations) no weights and when i reach 89 the bike starts to shake as i get over 90 it will shake so bad that it will go into limp mode and i get all kinds of lights on the dash. Now if i pullback on the handlebar with both hands and accelerate, i can go thru that point to triple digits. At lower speeds it is fine. it has been laser aligned, and the original Kenda which were worn on the inside before the alignment were swapped/rotated and it had no problems. when the new tires were put on i had the tech realign the rear a 2nd time to make sure and it still had the issue. going thru this i did find some play in the upper ball joints and replaced them, issue has not changed. i have not gotten a response back from the guys i got the tires from or from Vee rubber yet and it's been at least 2 months. sorry this does not help, but you are not the only one.
